School Closures: In the event of snow or dangerous driving conditions a "snow day" closure may be called. The Superintendent will usually make the decision to call a "snow day" by 6:00 a.m. The same information applies for power outages or any other event when school may be canceled.
- Please DO NOT call the school office. Parents will be notified via announcements every half hour on the local radio station, KNCO, 830 AM, KVMR, 89.5 FM and by the automated phone notification system. Also, KNCO publishes information on their website. KNCO site
- If it becomes necessary to call a snow day after the beginning of the school day or an early closure, KNCO and KVMR will be notified and we will use the automated phone notification system to inform parents.
- Please know, that in any event, if students are at school, they will be supervised and cared for by staff until students may be released directly to their parents or a parent-authorized designee.
