Lori Davis: First and Second Grade
Lori Davis has been teaching at Grass Valley Charter School since its inception in 1993. She has been an integral part of G.V.C.S.’s development, helping implement Expeditionary Learning and a sports program for the school. "I have loved helping plan and shape our school into the wonderful program that it is today – a school that I am thrilled to have my own children attend."
She really enjoys teaching in a multi-age classroom. " I love teaching 1st and 2nd grade. These are grades where students make tremendous growth. Guiding them through this process and helping them become independent learners is my passion."
Lori’s interests include running, reading, gardening and watching her 3 boys play basketball and football, swim and run. "I am a real Sports Mom." Lori was selected as a "Teacher that Makes a Difference" in 2002 and Nevada County's "Teacher of the Year" in 2011.
